The world needs more like you.

The generous you,

The strong-willed you—

The forgiving you.

Flowers will blossom through your generosity, pollinating the other closed off buds

Through your perseverance, the trees will lose their leaves in autumn, sway in the harsh weathers of winter, and meet spring again

And the young seedlings who bury themselves in guilt and in shame will sprout once more through your forgiveness

And if you are closed off yourself,

If you are buried under the snow,

We’ll be waiting for you, love

The touch of kind hearted people keeps the world going. We tend to stray away from acts of good will because we are far too concerned with ourselves: our nasty grudges, our demanding schedule, our fear of being too seen but also forgotten, etc. What pulls us out most of the time is that one person who loves beyond the four walls of a box we get trapped in. They are generous, kind, resilient, forgiving, and best of all patient. Only then do we feel the push to keep going, to spread the same energy, and to forgive and forget.

[The End]
