From the soaring hills,

great mountains rise;

they conquer over valleys.

Climb the mountains,

and fear the valleys.

On the tallest peak;

let yourself fall--

Fall down

               down

                    down

   down

    down.

Your fall is legendary from a mountain peak,

but clumsy if tripping into a valley.

It is not reasonable,

but it is desired.

You want to be honored for your fall;

If you must hit your head,

make it embellished in gold.

Description:

The piece “Fall from Mountains, Not Valleys” describes the toxicity in the mindset of someone who sees achieving greatness as impossible without burnout. I took inspiration from my observations of others and novels in the media. The effect of “down… down… down…” also illustrates the rough fall.
